Causes of Homelessness
According to the National Alliance to End Homelessness, in 2020 more than 580,000 people along with families experience homelessness. These causes range from low-income, racial disparities, escaping domestic violence, housing affordability, and more.
Awareness is the first step in combating this crisis. We must heighten awareness in our community, educate our youth, bring focus to the problem, and enact practical — yet rapid — change to save lives.
